RAILROAD DAYS 2013 DRAWS THRONGS FOR FREE TOURS AND EXHIBITS
On May 4 & 5, huge crowds enjoyed extensive model train layouts, the Amtrak Exhibit Train, BNSF freight locomotive, Disneyland Railroad Marsh #4 engine and other rail equipment. Many thanks to our sponsors, all the participants and our SCRPA volunteers for helping create a super salute to Fullerton's railroad
connections. It includes features on rail cars that will be open for tours. Pages 6 and 7 list the exhibitors, vendors and food booths + a map on Page 7 showing their locations. The Page 6 map includes site details and parking information. Free parking is available throughout the Downtown area, including the new 800-space parking structure on Santa Fe, west of Harbor Boulevard. A pedestrian bridge connects the structure to the Transportation Center, and a walkway through the Depot archway leads to Railroad Days’ main gate on Pomona Avenue. The Fullerton Train Station is just north of the 91 Freeway, in the 100 block of Santa Fe Avenue, east of Harbor Boulevard, or you can hop aboard an Amtrak Pacific Surfliner or Metrolink train and ride to the Fullerton Depot.
